The new Spring ISD High School is being developed with strong protections against flooding. By adding a large detention pond, rerouting and maintaining drainage channels, and balancing the floodplain, the project ensures that stormwater will be managed safely.
Careful planning and engineering have confirmed that the development will not harm Spring Creek, downstream properties, or adjacent neighborhoods—and may even provide slight flood relief during major storms.
